Contract awarding ceremony and training for Bulgarian beneficiaries

The Joint Technical Secretariat of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme in cooperation with the Managing Authority of the Programme (DG “Territorial Cooperation Management”, Ministry of Regional Development, Republic of Bulgaria) and the National Authority (Serbian European Integration Office, Republic of Serbia) is organizing an official ceremony for awarding of subsidy contracts and a training seminar for the Bulgarian beneficiaries under the Second Call for proposals. The ceremony and the training are related to the third group of subsidy contracts that have been signed under the Second Call for proposals. The first group of contracts have been awarded on the 23^rd of January 2013 in Sofia, Bulgaria and the second group of contracts have been awarded on the 25^th of April 2013 in Nis, Serbia.

Minister of Regional Development of Republic of Bulgaria, Desislava Terzieva, and the Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-government of Republic of Serbia, Igor Mirovic, will personally award the contracts to the official representatives of the project Lead Partners. The official awarding ceremony will take place on November 04, 2013 starting from 11:00h local time at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria (address: 17-19 Kiril and Metodiy str., Sofia, Bulgaria). The ceremony will be followed by a training seminar for the Bulgarian beneficiaries (in Bulgarian language). The seminar will be focused on the project implementation and its agenda reflects the structure of the Project Implementation Manual.

The awarding ceremony should be attended by the official representative of the Lead partner (Bulgarian or Serbian organization). As to the training that will start immediately after the ceremony, it should be attended by the Bulgarian representatives only. Due to the specific nature of the training and the topics covered, it is advisable that the seminar is attended by the project/organization manager and/or the financial expert/accountant, but not more than two persons per Bulgarian partner.
