The FOUNDATION FOR TRANSPARENT REGULATIONS (FTR) is a non-profit legal entity, established to work for public benefit. The Foundation supports the formation of efficient mechanisms and structures within the Bulgarian civil society, partnership and civic participation in policy making and the overall process of democratization of the country’s public and political life.
Our goals
• Enabling authorities’ transparency through the formulation, support and monitoring of public regulations that stipulate full transparency in the decision making process at all administrative levels;
• Fostering civic participation on the basis of the effective practice of EU values and standards;
• Enhancing dialogue and cooperation among citizens, authorities and business entities in resolving socially significant problems – e.g. education, local governance and democracy.
In 2011 the Foundation for Transparent Regulations started implementation of a project „Publicity, Transparency and Partnership - a Basis for Social and Regional Development” together with the Serbian non-profit organization European Movement. The project was implemented with the assistance of the European Union through the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-Border Programme.
