Professional High School in technique and management"Hristo Botev” is in a town called Botevgrad. It is in the south-west of Bulgaria, situated on the main international road, highway E-79.
It has a half century tradition of professional education – mechanics, electronics ,business administration,transport,program education,gas technique education, computers, economics. Our school is in the second place among other vocational schools in Bulgaria about the professional realisation of students on the labor market.
The school basketball team was the 4th in World Students Games in Istanbul in 2009.
We have students with difficulties in learning and those ones from minority groups. We have about 38 employees and about 380 students in daily education and 50 in evening education.
So,we help students to work successfully by using the method"pupils teach pupils".
We use every single lesson to help them keeping interest in global goal-living in a world without borders ,green and peaceful.
Most of the stereotypes we use are media products.
We analyse some stereotypes in advertising and share students' ideas, pictures or comments on this specific topic and create own products such as school newspaper,CDs , mini exhibitions in meetings, videos and blog, on-line.
