Description: Through this project partnership will be used as an efficient instrument to single out common problems related to forestal resources management and use. The project forsees four events - two in Bulgary and two in Serbia. First two events have the aim to acquire knowledges about forests use and management processes. Partners will be informed about laws and activities carried out by their partners concerning forests use and management, activities for the risk prevention of natural disasters and especially fires, forests promotion as a strong resource for socio-economic development - forestal products and services, development of eco-tourism. After this acknowledgement through the network, two partners will single out the weakest points in the forest management (laws, risk prevention activity, promotion of forest new products and services, development of eco-sustainable tourism); once problems are identified, there will be another meeting in Bulgary, during which high specialized managers will present methods and instruments for forests sustainable development. On the basis of these knowledges the two partners will develop the operating program for forests management and coordinated use. Then partners will study best practices used in the other EU countries, and put them in the Internet site, so that they are available to institutions and business companies which can use them for their activity. Together they will prepare a training program for business representatives. Every partner carries out in its territory training courses related to european policies, forest managemtn international systems (FSC) etc. Partners will create a database which will be published on the Website for all companies and institutions operating in the wood chain of custody in the cross-border area, in order to easy local businesses and to help institutions to create partnerships and to cooperate. The last meeting will be carried out in Serbia, where there will be the presentation of the project's results.
