Contract awarding ceremony and training event for beneficiaries under the Second Call for proposals

The Joint Technical Secretariat under the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme in cooperation with the Managing Authority of the Programme (DG “Territorial Cooperation Management”, Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, Republic of Bulgaria) and the National Authority (Serbian European Integration Office, Republic of Serbia) is organizing an official ceremony for awarding of contracts and a training seminar for the beneficiaries of the Second Call for proposals.

The seminar is focused on the project implementation and its agenda reflects the structure of the Project Implementation Manual for beneficiaries.

The official awarding ceremony will take place on January 23, 2013 at 10:30h at the “Triaditza” Conference hall - Grand Hotel Sofia (address: 1, Gurko Str., 1000 Sofia, Bulgaria). The ceremony will be followed by a training seminar for the Bulgarian beneficiaries (held in Bulgarian).

The training for the Serbian partners (in Serbian) will be organized soon after and the official announcement will be published on the Programme web site prior to the event. 

The awarding ceremony should be attended by the official representative of the Lead partner (Bulgarian or Serbian organization). As to the training that will start immediately after the ceremony, it should be attended by the Bulgarian representatives only. In addition:

-  The Bulgarian Lead partners should send to the training their project manager and the  financial expert/accountant.

-  The other Bulgarian beneficiaries that are not lead partners should send one representative only  (due to the specific procedures of managing and reporting of the projects, as well as to the limited seating in the conference hall).
