The second round of training seminars for beneficiaries under the first Call for proposals of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme took place on the 4th and 5th of August 2011 in Nis, Serbia. The seminars were organized by the Joint Technical Secretariat.
Ms. Kristina Askovic - representative of the National Authority (Serbian European Integration Office), opened the event and wished the participants a lot of success.
Mr. Kiril Geratliev - Director General of the “Territorial Cooperation Management” Directorate General (Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works), welcomed the participants on behalf of the Managing Authority and the entire Bulgarian delegation.
The seminar was prepared for Serbian beneficiaries and was aiming at clarifying the basic principles and procedures related to the project implementation under the first Call for project proposals. The seminar covered the following topics:
- Public procurement procedures
- Financial and Technical Project Reporting – FLC and eligibility of expenditures
- Modification of Subsidy Contract
- VAT Exemption and Procedures
- Financial Project Implementation and Irregularities
- Information, Publicity and Visibility
- Monitoring, Project closure and Audits
Important note: All the PowerPoint presentations displayed at the trainings in Sofia and Nis (both in Serbian and in Bulgarian) will be published on the Programme website as soon as possible.
