The essence of the project consists of investment and modernization of technical infrastructure of water and plumbing in the municipalities Dimovo and Majdanpek. For the Municipality Dimovo project will reconstruct the water supply network, stage two, in the village Oreshets, municipality Dimovo and replace plumbing in th length of 2558 m2 and lay asphalt on the intended route of intervention. For the Municipality Majdanpek investments are foreseen in the purchase of a monitoring system for surveillance, remote control and measurement of water flow. In addition to activities related to direct investments in the two border municipalities the project provides construction of a joint planning document called "Program for water management" in municipalities Dimovo and Majdanpek. That program will analyze the current state of the water sector, and give a clear idea of where and what to focus subsequent investments in this sector in order to protect and conserve natural resources and improving the living conditions of population on both sides of the border region. The project will organize and conduct regular joint meetings of the teams, workshops with stakeholders to provide innovative presentation facility in Majdanpek Municipality and Dimovo Municipality. |
