The overall objecitive and acctivities within the project are in accordance with Social Development Strategy of the municipality of Sokobanja, Economy development plan of the municipality of Sokobanja, Sokobanja Master Plan and Detailed Regulation Plan "Podina". Revitalization of existing sport facilities and promoting sport for all categories of sports activities will encourage all segments of the population to find sports as prevention of health problems, social development component, as well as a constructive way of spending leisure time. Moreover, construction and renovation of the existing sports infrastructure is an important issue which will improve further development and sport and tourism offer. The whole Investment is coverd by Detailed Regulation Plan "Podina" which provides sport`s and recreation complex constructioning.The project objectives are in accordance with Municipality Plan for development of Rila Municipality and the regional Strategy of Region of Kyustendil.The project activities will also improve the social cohesion between border communities, especially young people, direct beneficiaries and target group of the project. The project results will start a traditional sports tournament, which is as tourist attraction, as local important event leading to social cohesion. |
