European Cooperation Day – 2012

240x180_3_114.jpgEuropean Cooperation Day (ETC day) will be celebrated across Europe and in neighboring countries for the first time ever on 21 September 2012. More than 75 European Territorial Cooperation programmes are organizing local events which will take place all over Europe during the week of 17 – 23 September. The aim of the campaign which is coordinated by the INTERACT Programme in association with the European Commission, and supported by the Committee of the Regions and the European Parliament, is to celebrate the achievements of cooperation between European regions and countries. 

The Joint Technical Secretariat of the Bulgaria-Serbia IPA Cross-border Programme is organizing a celebration under title Growing Closer through Cultural Cooperation” on the 21st of September 2012, starting from 16:00 h, at the public community center “Bratstvo 1869”, in Kyustendil, Bulgaria. The event will feature two performances; a live music concert “Music without borders” and a dancing performance “Balkan synthesis”, both of which will include performers form both Bulgaria and Serbia. The event is open for the public from the cross-border region.
