Complete renewal of two parks: “The Lake” Park – Etropole and the “Banjica” Park - Pela Palanka. Thus the project will recover green systems in the towns of Bela Palanka and Etropole and will ensure appropriate urban infrastructure for sports and recreational activities. This will stimulate the active and healthier way of living for local citizens, guests and tourist of the municipalities of Bela Palanka and Etropole and will improve the image of the two municipalities as tourist destinations. Additionally, the revitalization of urban green areas will give more opportunities for recreation of citizens of any age in both of the municipalities. Municipality of Bela Palanka and Etropole as twin municipalities have established cooperation in other areas like cultural and social sphere. For this project they will cooperate in the field of revitalization of green areas and improvement of the conditions for practising of sports and general recreation of citizens.
Both municipalities have developed sports clubs and sports activities. The current project will continue this tradition and good practices in the field of youth activities, sports, environmental protection, tourism and social development. It will contribute to the attractiveness of the both municipalities and the border region as a whole not only towards its citizens but also guests and tourists. |
