Описание: The first step will be „to do an inventory” of all available resources for tourism in the target region – accommodation facilities, catering establishments, places of interest, attractions, providers of tourist services, local events, festivals. Each partner will describe the resources in the respective region and will classify them by the type, capacity, standard, etc. First beneficiary meeting is envisaged to bring together the active actors working in the field of tourism in the target region and to lay the foundation of a network. Besides, it will be used to present the collected information before the participants and to put it forward for comments in view of connecting them in a common tourist product. The participants will have the opportunity to make their suggestions for the content of the future tourist product. After the packages will be ready, they will be discussed during the second beneficiary meeting. The newly developed tourist product needs to be promoted as widely as possible, not only in the cross-border region, but outside as well. For this purpose, we plan two ”test drives” (pilot info tours) – one for tourist operators/agencies and another one for media representatives. They will contribute the product to become popular among the potential “sellers” of the product, on the one hand, and (through the media) among the future “consumers” as well. The web site will be another powerful instrument for promotion. It willl be linked in all partners' web sites and also in web sites of tourist operators, travel agencies etc., not only in Bulgaria and Serbia, but also outside them. In addition, the new tourist product will be “exhibited” at specialized event, such as tourist exchange, fair, sectoral event, cooperation exchange in tourism or similar. Various promotional materials (film, movie, brochures, CDs, T-shirts) will be elaborated for this purpose, as well as for subsequent advertising. The availability of a complete, well-defined, widely promoted quality tourist product for the region as a whole, that will connect locations, events and sights will be an instrument for improving the visibility of the region and increasing of its attractiveness as a tourist destination and investment destination.
